Buses will also run on the tram line in Bucharest. It is a good idea?

Starting with July 1, buses in Bucharest will be able to run on tram lines to avoid congestion. STB claims that this way people will stay less in stations, and buses will come faster and follow a more predictable schedule. For several days, controllers will stay in traditional stations to redirect passengers to the new stations, now shared with trams.

Rules for this change

To maintain safety, buses will run only on tram lines bounded by metal fences and will be required to maintain a distance of 30 meters from the trams, in order to brake safely. In addition, special traffic lights will be installed to determine the priority at the intersection.
